Are general finance companies allowed to make independent investments in indirect investments abroad?
Subjects allowed to conduct self-trading and indirect investment abroad are specified in Article 13 Decree No. 135/2015/ND-CP as follows:
Subjects allowed to self-trade and invest indirectly abroad
Organizations that are allowed to conduct self-trading and make indirect investments abroad include:
1. Securities companies, fund management companies.
2. Securities investment fund through fund management company (hereinafter referred to as securities investment fund), securities investment company.
3. Insurance business.
4. Commercial bank.
5. General financial company.
6. State capital investment and trading corporation.
Thus, according to regulations, general finance companies are allowed to self-trade and invest indirectly abroad.
