Can a securities practitioner open a securities trading account at a securities company where he or she does not work?
Responsibilities of securities practitioners are specified in Clause 2, Article 98 Securities Law as follows:

2. Securities practitioners are not allowed to perform the following acts:
a) Simultaneously work for 02 securities companies, securities investment fund management companies, branches of securities companies and foreign fund management companies in Vietnam, securities investment companies or more ;
b) Open and manage a securities trading account at a securities company where you do not work, unless the securities company where you are working does not have securities brokerage operations;
c) Committing acts beyond the scope of authorization of securities companies, securities investment fund management companies, branches of securities companies and foreign fund management companies in Vietnam, investment companies securities where I am working.
3. Securities practitioners must participate in training courses on securities laws and the stock market, trading systems, and new types of securities organized by the State Securities Commission and the Vietnam Stock Exchange. and its subsidiary, Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation.
4. Securities companies, securities investment fund management companies, branches of securities companies and foreign fund management companies in Vietnam, securities investment companies are responsible for the professional activities of securities practitioners.
Thus, according to regulations, securities practitioners are not allowed to open securities trading accounts at securities companies where they do not work.
Except in cases where the securities company where you are working does not have stock brokerage operations.
