Pursuant to Point d, Clause 2, Article 9 Decree No. 82/2020/ND-CP Violations of regulations on operations of legal consulting centers and branches of legal consulting centers are as follows:

2. Fine from 3,000,000 VND to 7,000,000 VND for one of the following acts:

a) Failure to post legal consulting fees at headquarters;

b) Failure to report to competent authorities on organization and activities annually or upon request; Failure to prepare, manage, and use books and forms according to regulations;

c) Failure to notify the competent authority in writing when changing the registration content or terminating the operation of the legal consulting center; change of center director, branch head, legal consultant, lawyer; Establishment or termination of operations of a branch of a legal consulting center;

d) Not having a sign or using a sign that does not comply with the content of the operation registration certificate;

d) Allowing people who are not legal consultants, legal consulting collaborators of the legal consulting center, or lawyers practicing as individuals to work under a labor contract for the center to perform Legal advice under the name of the legal advice center;

e) Appoint a person who is not a lawyer to practice as an individual working under a labor contract for a legal consulting center to participate in proceedings to defend, represent, and protect the legal rights and interests of the lawyer. Agencies, organizations, and individuals request legal advice;

g) Erasing, altering or falsifying the content of the legal consulting center's operation registration certificate;

h) Providing legal advice without being granted an operating registration certificate.

5. Additional sanctions:

a) Suspension of operations from 01 month to 03 months for violations specified in Point e Clause 2 and Point a Clause 3 of this Article;

b) Confiscate evidence that is an operation registration certificate that has been erased or altered to falsify the content for violations specified at Point g, Clause 2 of this Article.

Thus, a legal consulting center without a sign will not be suspended from operation but instead may be fined from 3,000,000 VND to 7,000,000 VND.
