Pursuant to Point c, Clause 1, Article 26 Decree 82/2020/ND-CP Violations of regulations on the operation of arbitration centers and branches of arbitration centers; Branches and representative offices of foreign arbitration organizations in Vietnam are as follows:

Violations of regulations on the operation of arbitration centers and branches of arbitration centers; branches and representative offices of foreign arbitration organizations in Vietnam

1. Fine from 1,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND for one of the following acts:

a) Notify the competent authority on time about the change of the legal representative, head of branch, head of representative office of the arbitration center; Head of branch, head of representative office of foreign arbitration organization;

b) Notify the competent authority on time about changing the location of the headquarters of the arbitration center, the branch of the arbitration center, or the location of the representative office of the arbitration center; Location of the headquarters of the branch or representative office of the foreign arbitration institution;

c) Notify competent authorities on time about changes to the list of arbitrators of arbitration centers or branches of foreign arbitration organizations;

d) Notify the competent authority on time about the establishment of a branch or representative office of the arbitration center; Branches and representative offices of arbitration centers abroad; representative offices of foreign arbitration organizations;

4. Additional penalties:

a) Suspension of operations from 01 month to 03 months for violations specified in Points a and c, Clause 3 of this Article;

b) Confiscate evidence such as establishment licenses, operation registration papers that have been erased or altered to falsify the content for violations specified in Point h, Clause 3 of this Article.

Thus, if an arbitration center fails to notify the competent authority on time about changing the center's list of arbitrators, it will not be suspended but will be fined from 1,000,000 VND to 3,000 VND. 000 VND.
