What is a new urban development area?
New urban development areas are explained in Clause 2, Article 2Decree 11/2013/ND-CP New urban development area is an area expected to form a new urban area in the future according to urban planning approved by competent authorities, with new investment in synchronous construction of urban infrastructure.
What sources of investment capital are available in new urban development areas?
New urban development areas have investment capital sources specified in Clause 1, Article 5 Decree 11/2013/ND-CP as follows:
Investment capital for urban development
1. Investment capital for urban development areas includes: state budget capital, official development aid (ODA) capital and capital from other economic sectors.
2. Provincial People's Committees are allowed to use existing investment funds (including: Local development investment fund, land development fund, infrastructure development fund, housing development fund...) to create investment funds for urban development areas.
Thus, according to the above regulations, the new urban development area has the following sources of investment capital: state budget capital, official development aid (ODA) capital and capital from other economic sectors.
