Can I apply for a visa for my foreign husband without registering my marriage?
According to Clause 11 Article 3 Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam explained as follows: A visa is a document issued by a competent Vietnamese agency allowing foreigners to enter Vietnam.
Accordingly, TT visas are issued to foreigners who are fathers, mothers, wives, husbands, and children of Vietnamese citizens according to Clause 18, Article 8 of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam 2014 modified by Point h, Clause 3, Article 1 of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam, amended 2019 as follows:

18. TT - Issued to foreigners who are spouses and children under 18 years old of foreigners who are granted visas with symbols LV1, LV2, LS, DT1, DT2, DT3, NN1, NN2, DH, PV1, LD1, LĐ2 or foreigner is the father, mother, wife, husband, or children of Vietnamese citizens.
Therefore, In case you and your husband have not registered your marriage but you and your husband have children, your husband has the right to enter Vietnam in the form of a family visit.
