Do distribution transformers have to have energy labels?
Whether distribution transformers must have energy labels, according to the provisions of Article 1 of Decision 04/2017/QD-TTg, there are regulations on the list of means and equipment that must have energy labels and apply efficiency. The minimum energy is as follows:

2. Office and commercial equipment group includes: Photocopiers, computer monitors, printers, commercial refrigerators, laptops.
3. Industrial equipment group includes: Distribution transformers, electric motors.
4. Group of means of transport includes: Cars with 9 seats or less, motorbikes, mopeds.”
Thus, according to the above regulations, transformers distributing industrial equipment belong to the list of vehicles and equipment that must have energy labels and apply minimum energy efficiency.
Therefore, distribution transformers must have energy labels.
