How are visa application procedures for foreigners in Vietnam carried out?

Based on Article 16,Article 17 Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam 2014 added by Clause 8, Article 1 of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam, amended 2019 as follows:

- Carry out procedures for inviting and sponsoring foreigners to enter the country at the following immigration management agency (Article 16 Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam 2014)

- In this case, it can be determined that the visa application will be made at the competent Vietnamese visa-issuing agency abroad according to Article 17 Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam 2014

+ Inviting and sponsoring agencies, organizations and individuals specified in Clause 1, Article 17 directly send a visa application accompanied by their passport or valid international travel documents.foreigner at the immigration management agency or competent agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. + Visa application form according to the form issued by the Ministry of Public Security atCircular 04/2015/TT-BCA

Besides, regarding fees and charges, payment is made accordingly Circular No. 25/2021/TT-BTC Regulations on collection rates, collection, remittance, management and use of fees and charges in the fields of export, import, transit and residence in Vietnam issued by the Minister of Finance
