Pursuant to the provisions in Clause 3 Article 35 Circular No. 12/2017/TT-BGTVT added by Clause 5, Article 2, Circular No.  01/2021/TT-BGTVT:

- Those who pass the test will be granted a driver's license of the correct class; In case of upgrading or reissuing due to exceeding the expiration date specified in Clause 1, Article 36 of this Circular, the original driving license must be presented when picking up the driving license.

- Based on the decision to recognize passing the test, the General Director of Vietnam Road Administration and the Director of the Department of Transport shall issue a driving license to the successful candidate.

The date of admission recorded on the back of the driver's license is the date of signing the decision to recognize admission to the test.

- The latest time to issue a driving license is no more than 10 working days from the end of the test.

- Individuals who pass the test and want to receive a driving license at home, within 03 days from the end of the test, must register via the online public service system to Vietnam Road Administration. Nam or Department of Transport.

Thus, no later than 10 working days from the end of the test, the test taker will be issued a driving license.
