If a foreign trader without a presence in Vietnam fails to report annually for many years, the certificate of registration of import rights will be revoked, according to the provisions of Point c, Clause 2, Article 15.Decree 90/2007/ND-CP as follows:

Handling violations

1. Foreign traders not present in Vietnam who violate the law will, depending on the nature and severity of the violation, be administratively handled or prosecuted for criminal liability according to the provisions of the Law. law of Vietnam.

2. Foreign traders without presence in Vietnam will have their Certificate of registration of export and import rights revoked in the following cases of violation:

a) The declared content in the application for the Certificate of registration of export and import rights is fake.

b) Operating inconsistently with the contents specified in the issued Certificate of Registration of Export and Import Rights.

c) For 02 consecutive years there is no annual report or report as required by the Ministry of Trade.

d) In other cases of violation of law, the Business Registration Certificate must be revoked according to the provisions of Vietnamese law.

Thus, according to the above regulations, foreign traders without presence in Vietnam who do not report annually for 2 consecutive years will have their import right registration certificate revoked.
