How to apply for visa exemption for foreigners who are husbands and children of Vietnamese people residing abroad?

Pursuant to the provisions in Article 7 of Decree No. 82/2015/ND-CP Regarding issuance of visa exemption certificates at Vietnamese visa-issuing agencies abroad as follows:

"1. The applicant for a visa exemption certificate residing abroad shall submit the application as prescribed in Article 6 of this Decree to the Vietnamese visa-issuing authority abroad.

2. Within 01 working day from the date of receiving complete documents, the Vietnamese visa-issuing authority abroad shall send a list of applicants for visa exemption certificates to the Immigration Department. .

3. Within 03 working days, the Immigration Department will consider and respond to the Vietnamese visa-issuing authority abroad.

4. Within 01 working day from receipt of notification from the Immigration Department, the Vietnamese visa-issuing authority abroad shall issue a visa exemption certificate."

Thus, the applicant for a visa exemption certificate residing abroad must follow the above regulations to be granted a visa exemption certificate.
