Procedures to sponsor relatives to Singapore?
Firstly, regarding exit and entry conditions according to Vietnamese law:
According to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 3 of Decree No. 136/2007/ND-CP dated August 17, 2007 of the Government on exit and entry of Vietnamese citizens, modified and supplemented byDecree 65/2012/ND-CP of the Government on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree 136/2007/ND-CP dated August 17, 2007 on exit and entry of Vietnamese citizens ( hereinafter referred to as Decree No. 136/2007/ND-CP), Vietnamese citizens carrying valid exit or entry documents issued by competent Vietnamese agencies are allowed to exit or enter Vietnam. Men do not need a visa. Also according to Clause 1, Article 4 of this Decree, the ordinary passport is considered one of the valid exit and entry documents issued to all Vietnamese citizens for exit and entry.
Thus, Vietnamese citizens who want to exit or enter the country must have an ordinary passport (hereinafter referred to as Vietnamese passport). If your relative does not have a Vietnamese passport as prescribed above, you need to apply for a Vietnamese passport. Procedures for applying for a passport are specified in Article 15 of Decree No. 136/2007/ND-CP. Accordingly, your relative will submit the application and receive the passport issuance result at the Immigration Management agency in one of the following ways:
- Directly submit documents and receive results at the Immigration Management Agency of the province or centrally run city where you permanently or temporarily reside.
- Send the application by mail to the Immigration Management Agency of the province or centrally run city where you permanently reside and request to receive the results by mail. Sending documents and receiving results by post is carried out according to procedures prescribed by the Ministry of Public Security and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group.
- Entrust agencies and organizations with legal status to directly submit documents and receive results at the Immigration Management Agency of the Police of the province or centrally run city where you permanently reside. The entrustment is carried out according to the regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
After submitting a complete application (application components are specified in Clause 3, Article 15 of Decree No. 136/2007/ND-CP), the Immigration Management Agency will return the results to you within no more than 8 working days from the date of receipt of application.
Second, your relative must be eligible to enter Singapore or not:
To meet this condition, your relative must be issued a visa by the Singapore embassy in Vietnam appropriate to the purpose of going there. Whether or not you will be granted a visa to work there depends on the laws of the country where you want to sponsor your relative. That isregulations about whether you are eligible to sponsor a relative to come work or not (Are you eligible to sponsor a relative to work? If you are sponsored, what procedures do you need to follow according to that country's regulations...) andRegulations on whether your younger brother can enter the country to work under the sponsorship of a relative in that country or not. (level, age, health...).
Thus, to know the conditions and procedures for entering the country where you want to sponsor your relative to work, you need to learn about the laws of that country regarding the conditions for you to sponsor your relative. to work and the conditions for your relatives to enter that country. If both of you meet the conditions prescribed by that country's law, then you two will carry out the above procedures so that your brother can go to that country to work.
