Support up to 3 million VND for workers who lose their jobs from April 2023
Accordingly, trade union members and employees will have their working hours reduced and labor contracts terminated due to businesses cutting or reducing orders during the period from April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023. Decision No. 6696/QD-TLD stipulates:
- Employees whose daily working hours are reduced, the number of working days per week or month (except for overtime hours reduced) and whose monthly income is lower than the regional minimum wage are supported as follows: :
+ Support 01 million VND for workers who are union members or not union members but are women 35 years of age or older, women who are pregnant, raising biological or adopted children... under 06 years old.
+ Support of 700,000 VND for non-union members.
- Employees whose labor contracts are suspended and leave without pay:
+ Support of 02 million VND for people who are union members or not union members but are women 35 years of age or older, women who are pregnant, raising biological or adopted children... under 06 years old.
+ Support of 1.4 million VND for non-union members.
- For people whose labor contracts are terminated but are not eligible for unemployment benefits:
+ Support of 03 million VND for people who are union members or not members but are women 35 years of age or older, women who are pregnant, raising biological or adopted children... under 06 years old.
+ Support of 2.1 million VND for non-union members.
