What expenses are supported when admitted to a scholarship to study abroad in Laos?

Pursuant to the provisions in Subsection 1.3 Section 1 Notice 692/TB-BGDDT 2022:

“1.3. Scholarship regime

Overseas students will be granted a scholarship by the Lao Government including training fees and dormitory accommodation with costs applicable according to the Lao Government's regulations for international students with Agreement scholarships. The Vietnamese Government provides compensation for monthly living expenses, travel expenses, passport and visa fees and health insurance according to the current regime for international students studying under the Agreement in Laos."

Accordingly, when a candidate is accepted for a scholarship to study in Laos, the Lao Government will provide a scholarship that includes training fees and dormitory accommodation. In addition, the Vietnamese Government will subsidize monthly living expenses, travel expenses, passport fees, visa fees and health insurance.
