What is the maximum amount of credit guarantee funds that can grant credit guarantees to small and medium-sized enterprises?
The maximum credit guarantee fund that can grant credit guarantees to small and medium-sized enterprises is as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 17 Decree 34/2018/ND-CP as follows:
Scope of credit guarantee
1. The credit guarantee fund considers granting credit guarantees to small and medium-sized enterprises up to 100% of the loan value (including working capital and medium and long-term capital) at the lending organization. Based on the feasibility, risk level of the enterprise, investment project, production and business plan and financial capacity of the Fund, the Credit Guarantee Fund shall consider and decide specifically on the guarantee level for the enterprise.
2. Guarantees from the Credit Guarantee Fund include one of the following cases:
a) Guarantee the guaranteed party's obligation to repay loan principal at lending institutions;
b) Guarantee the guaranteed party's obligation to pay interest on the loan at lending institutions;
c) Guarantee the guaranteed party's obligation to repay loan principal and interest at lending institutions and must be specifically stipulated in the credit guarantee contract.
3. Based on the financial capacity, administration and management of the Credit Guarantee Fund, feasibility and risk level of investment projects, production and business plans, the Credit Guarantee Fund considers, Decide on the scope of credit guarantee specified in Clause 2 of this Article and must be specifically stipulated in the credit guarantee contract.
