What is the supporting industry development program?

The supporting industry development program is explained in Clause 5, Article 3 Decree 111/2015/ND-CP is a collection of contents and tasks on promotion activities and support for the development of supporting industries with the goal of developing the production of supporting industry products.

What are the goals of the supporting industry development program?

The targeted supporting industry development program is specified in Clause 1, Article 10 Decree 111/2015/ND-CP as follows:

1. Objective:

Support organizations and individuals to improve capacity in supporting industry development activities.

2. Content:

a) Support for improving business capacity: Business administration; Production Management; create links and connect businesses that produce supporting industry products with customers, becoming product suppliers for multinational corporations and other supporting industry manufacturers at home and abroad ; promote and support the consumption market for supporting industrial products;

b) Support human resource training to meet the requirements of supporting industrial product manufacturing industries;

c) Support research and development, application of technology transfer and innovation in trial production of components, spare parts and materials;

d) Disseminate awareness and provide information about policies, markets and capacities of Vietnam's supporting industries, through forms such as: Organizing seminars, publishing newsletters and publications and promote on other mass media;

d) International cooperation in supporting industry development; promoting foreign investment in supporting industries;

e) Support the development of standards and technical regulations for supporting industry products on the list of priority supporting industry products for development that are appropriate and in harmony with international and regional standards;

g) Build and update the database on domestic and foreign supporting industries on the website specializing in supporting industries.
