Does an organization applying for a license to provide intermediary payment services have to pay a license fee?
Based on Article 5 Circular No. 39/2014/TT-NHNN (edited by Clause 2, Article 2, Circular No. 20/2016/TT-NHNN) regulates the processes, procedures, and dossiers for granting, revoking, and reissuing Licenses as follows:
Processes, procedures, documents for issuance, revocation and re-issuance of Licenses
1. Processes and procedures for issuance, revocation and re-issuance of Licenses comply with the provisions of Article 16 of Decree No. 101/2012/ND-CP.
2. Dossier to request a License to provide payment intermediary services shall comply with the provisions of Clause 2, Article 16 of Decree No. 101/2012/ND-CP and the Government's regulations amending and supplementing Supplement or replace (if any).
3. Application for a License shall be made according to the form in Appendix No. 01 issued with this Circular.
4. Organizations licensed to provide intermediary payment services must pay the License fee according to the provisions of law.
Thus, organizations granted a License to provide payment intermediary services must pay the License fee according to the provisions of law.
