With regard to the business investment activities carried out in Vietnam, an investor holding both Vietnamese and foreign nationality may decide whether to apply market access conditions and investment procedures applied to domestic investors or foreign investors. If market access conditions and investment procedures applied to domestic investors are selected, the investor holding both Vietnamese and foreign nationality are not allowed to exercise the rights and obligations of a foreign investor.

Accordingly, investors who are Vietnamese citizens and have foreign nationality have the right to choose to apply investment conditions for domestic investors or investment conditions for foreign investors.

However, when choosing to apply investment conditions to domestic investors, the investor must only exercise the rights and obligations towards domestic investors without having to exercise the rights and obligations imposed on domestic investors. applicable to foreign investors or vice versa.
