Subjects eligible for incentives in contractor selection are specified in Clause 1, Article 10 Bidding Law 2023 as follows:

Incentives in selecting contractors and investors

1. Subjects eligible for incentives in contractor selection include:

a) Goods of Vietnamese origin;

b) Environmentally friendly products and services according to the provisions of law on environmental protection;

c) Domestic contractors produce goods of Vietnamese origin in accordance with the bidding documents;

d) Foreign contractors enter into joint ventures with domestic contractors and the domestic contractors undertake 25% or more of the work value of the bidding package;

d) Domestic contractors participate in bidding independently or in partnership with other domestic contractors when participating in international bidding;

e) The contractor is a micro-enterprise or small enterprise according to the provisions of law on support for small and medium-sized enterprises;

g) The contractor is a creative start-up enterprise according to the provisions of law;

h) The contractor uses 25% or more female workers; The number of workers who are war invalids and disabled people is 25% or more; The number of employees who are ethnic minorities is 25% or more.

Thus, according to regulations, contractors that use many female workers, specifically those using 25% or more female workers, are entitled to incentives in selecting contractors.
