Procedures for granting temporary residence card
1. Dossier to request a temporary residence card includes:
a) Written request from the agency, organization or individual carrying out invitation and guarantee procedures;
b) Application form for temporary residence card with photo;
c) Passport;
d) Documents proving that the case is specified in Clause 1, Article 36 of this Law.
2. Handling of temporary residence card issuance is as follows:
a) Diplomatic missions, consulates or other authorized foreign agencies in Vietnam submit dossiers to apply for a temporary residence card with the symbol NG3 at the competent agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
b) Agencies, organizations, and individuals inviting or sponsoring directly submit applications for temporary residence cards to foreigners falling into the cases specified in Point b, Clause 1, Article 36 of this Law at the export management agency. Enter the country where the inviting or sponsoring agency or organization is headquartered or where the inviting or sponsoring individual resides;
c) Within 05 working days from the date of receipt of complete documents, the immigration management agency or competent agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will consider granting a temporary residence card.
