There are no provisions in the construction law regulating temporary construction permits. A construction permit in its common sense is a construction permit issued to investors, households, and individuals to build projects and houses within a certain period of time.
Although there are no provisions regulating temporary construction permits, there are regulations with many similarities that are term construction permits.
According to the provisions of Clause 30, Article 1 of the 2020 Amended Construction Law, construction permits include 04 types:
- New construction permit: Is a legal document issued by a competent state agency to investors (including households and individuals) to build new works and houses in cases where it is not allowed.Exemption from construction permits according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 89 of the 2014 Construction Law, amended and supplemented by Clause 30, Article 1 of the 2020 amended Construction Law.
- Repair and renovation license: Is a legal document issued by a competent state agency to investors to repair and renovate works and houses.
- Construction relocation permit: A legal document issued by a competent state agency to the investor to relocate the project.
- Limited-term construction permit:A license issued by a competent state agency to investors to build works and houses for use within a certain period of time.
